OUR ROOTS
One Step Ahead
What started as a small 6 child in-home daycare in a quaint home on the west side of Mount Pleasant, evolved into a group home, caring for 12 children in a larger house just outside of town with a separate dedicated space for the children and families. Now, after seeing a desperate need for quality childcare in our area we felt the calling to serve the needs of our community and made a decision to expand once again. We have now made our biggest growth leap yet, into a commercial center. Located right in the heart of Mt. Pleasant where we serve 58 children! The Little Red Wagon now has infant, toddler, tykes, and preschool rooms, serving children ages 8 weeks to 5 years.

The Little Red Wagon believes that parent communication is of key importance. That is why we take many intentional steps from staff scheduling and room placement to utilizing a parent communication tool called, DailyConnect. DailyConnect is an app that allows parents to see in real-time when their child has had a diaper change, napped, eaten, or engaged in an activity. Parents can also directly message their child's teacher through the app!
